[tennisbiz] Re: Portable Court system
Kirk,
Regarding a portable court system, the first question is this. How many days
a year would you need it? A portable court that rolls up is not only very
expensive, but it takes up a HUGE amount of space when rolled up. Remember
that the entire playing area is 60 x 120 feet. If you rethink your idea,
consider this:
1. You can look at images of 2 different portable 42-foot net systems on our
website as a reference.
2. The problem with tennis on gym floors is that the balls skid tremendously
on the waxd wooden floors. A good option is to use high-density foam balls
when hitting on wooden floors.
3. There are also smaller (10-foot and 17-foot) portable net systems that
are much easier and less expensive to use than the 42-footers mentioned
above.
Let me know if you need more. Happy to help.
