Cost of a red clay court

What is a reasonable cost of constructing a red clay court? Our club
currently consists of 4 all weather courts and we have been quoted an
astronomical price for a company to construct clay courts on the
existing foundation.

Our second option, if the price is to exorbitant is to replace our court
surface with the same surface as the Australian Open. Apparently there
is rubber in the asphalt to cushion the running.
