Teaching One Armed Students
One of our members is considering purchasing a series of one on one lessons
for her husband who has one arm. Though I have seen many one armed players
I have not had the experience of teaching someone. My initial feeling is to
teach the service toss off the racquet face but I am not sure if there is a
preferred technique also is this a "continental grip thing" or the thought
of loosening the hand and changing grips advised, similar to what we do when
teaching with a handful of balls.......any ideas or informational sources
would be appreciated. Thank you.
