Re: Teaching One Armed Students

From my experience (although with only 2 players that I can recall), here
are some comments:
1. Re: serve toss. There are 2 options. From the racket as you wrote and
also from the racket hand, holding the racket and the ball, releasing the
ball, and setting the racket to serve (kind of like Andy Roddick).
2. Re: grips, I would let the player experiment and see what works. The one
thing to remember is that this player will have much more capacity and
coordination developed in that one arm than a normal player with his general
coordination and experience (or lack of) on the court.
