I cannot answer all of your questions as I am not familiar with
teaching positions and policies in other countries. I applaud you for
wanting to go into the tennis profession and I would encourage you to become
certified by a professional teaching association. There is a vast
difference in the offerings of associations around the world. Before
selecting an association, I would recommend that you investigate the
benefits and educational opportunities of other associations. It is
important that you find an association that does offer continuing education
opportunities since you are just coming into the profession and there is a
vast amount of information that is offered by various teaching associations.
Some offer more than others according to which part to the world you are
living in.

I would go to http://www.rpteurope.com for the European Registry of Tennis
Professionals and the United States Professional Tennis Association at
http://www.uspta.com for information on those to associations as well as the
PTR.
